1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the “inzone” mobile application (“App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and End User License Agreement (collectively, “Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

2. License Grant

We grant you a revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited license to download, install, and use the App on a mobile device that you own or control, strictly in accordance with these Terms and for personal, non-commercial purposes only.

3. Account Registration

3.1 Account Creation

To use the App, you must create an account using:

Email and password registration, OR
Google Sign-In authentication

3.2 Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
All activities that occur under your account
Providing accurate and current registration information
Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access

3.3 Account Requirements

You must be at least 13 years of age (or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction)
You may only maintain one account per person
Accounts are non-transferable

4. User Content

4.1 Your Content

You retain full ownership of all content you create within the App, including but not limited to:

Focus session data
Goals and milestones
Habits and tracking logs
To-do items and tasks
Journal entries
Profile information

4.2 License to Your Content

You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing the App’s services to you. We do not access, read, analyze, or share your personal content (such as journal entries) for any other purpose.

4.3 Content Restrictions

You agree not to upload or create content that:

Is illegal, harmful, or violates the rights of others
Contains malware, viruses, or harmful code
Impersonates another person or entity

5. Prohibited Activities

You agree NOT to:

Reverse Engineering: Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to extract the source code of the App
Unauthorized Access: Attempt to bypass security features, gain unauthorized access to our systems, or interfere with the App’s operation
Cheating/Exploitation: Manipulate the points system, leaderboards, achievements, or gamification features through unauthorized means
Account Abuse: Create multiple accounts, share accounts, or sell/transfer your account
Illegal Use: Use the App for any illegal purpose or in violation of any local, state, national, or international laws
Spam/Abuse: Use the App to harass, spam, or harm other users
Commercial Use: Use the App for commercial purposes without our express written consent
Data Scraping: Scrape, harvest, or collect data from the App or other users

6. Gamification System

6.1 Points, Ranks, and Zones

The App includes a gamification system featuring:

Points earned through focus sessions, goal completion, habit tracking, and other activities
Ranks (Bronze, Silver, Gold, etc.) based on accumulated points
Zones and leagues for competitive progression
Achievements and badges for milestones

6.2 Leaderboards

By using the App, you agree that:

Your username and point totals may be displayed on public leaderboards
Weekly and monthly leaderboard rankings are visible to other users
We may reset leaderboards periodically (weekly, monthly)

6.3 No Real-World Value

Points, ranks, achievements, and any virtual items within the App:

Have no real-world monetary value
Cannot be exchanged for cash or other consideration
May be modified, reset, or removed at our discretion

7. Subscriptions and Payments

7.1 Subscription Tiers

The App offers the following subscription options:

T4	Monthly Focus	Enhanced focus features + ad-free

7.2 Billing and Payment Processing

All payments are processed through the Google Play Store (Android) or Apple App Store (iOS)
We do NOT store, process, or have access to your credit card or payment information
Pricing is determined by the respective app stores and may vary by region
You will be charged through your Google Play or Apple ID account

7.3 Auto-Renewal

Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period
Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period
You can manage and cancel your subscriptions by going to your account settings on the Google Play Store or Apple App Store

7.4 How to Cancel Your Subscription

IMPORTANT: Uninstalling the App does NOT cancel your subscription. You must cancel through your app store.

For Google Play (Android):

Open the Google Play Store app
Tap your profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions
Select “inzone” and tap “Cancel subscription”

For Apple App Store (iOS):

Open Settings → tap your name → Subscriptions
Select “inzone” and tap “Cancel Subscription”

7.5 Refunds

Refunds are handled entirely by the respective app stores:

Google Play: Request a refund
Apple App Store: Request a refund

We have no control over refund decisions made by these platforms. All refund requests must be submitted directly to Google or Apple.

7.6 Price Changes

We reserve the right to change subscription prices. Price changes will:

Not affect your current billing period
Be communicated in advance where required by app store policies

8. Notifications and Permissions

8.1 Push Notifications

By enabling notifications, you consent to receive:

Focus session reminders and timers
Streak and habit reminders
Achievement and milestone alerts
Important account and service updates

You can disable notifications at any time in your device settings.

8.2 Do Not Disturb Access (Android)

The App may request Do Not Disturb permission to:

Enable focus mode during active sessions
Minimize interruptions while you concentrate

This permission is optional and initiated by you.

9. Advertising

9.1 Advertisements for Free Tier Users

If you are using the free tier (T1), the App displays advertisements provided by Google AdMob. By using the free tier, you consent to:

Viewing advertisements within the App
The collection of advertising-related data as described in our Privacy Policy

9.2 Ad-Free Experience

Premium subscribers (T2 and above) enjoy an ad-free experience. Upgrade to any paid tier to remove all advertisements.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY
FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE
NON-INFRINGEMENT
ACCURACY OR RELIABILITY OF CONTENT

WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT:

The App will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
Defects will be corrected
The App is free of viruses or harmful components
Your data will never be lost (we recommend maintaining local backups of important information)
Advertisement content will be appropriate or relevant

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW:

11.1 No Liability for Damages

“inzone” and its developer(s) shall NOT be liable for any:

Indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
Loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses
Damages resulting from unauthorized access to or alteration of your data
Damages arising from your use or inability to use the App

11.2 Maximum Liability

In no event shall our total liability exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or $50 USD, whichever is greater.

11.3 Essential Purpose

These limitations apply even if any remedy fails of its essential purpose.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless “inzone” and its developer(s) from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorney’s fees) arising out of or in any way connected with:

Your access to or use of the App
Your violation of these Terms
Your violation of any third-party rights
Your User Content

13. Termination

13.1 By You

You may terminate your account at any time by:

Using the “Delete Account” feature within the App’s settings (recommended)
Contacting us at [email protected] to request account deletion
Ceasing use of the App and uninstalling it

13.2 By Us

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account immediately, without prior notice, if you:

Breach any provision of these Terms
Engage in fraudulent or illegal activity
Abuse the gamification system or leaderboards
Harass other users

13.3 Effect of Termination

Upon termination:

Your license to use the App is revoked
Your account data may be deleted (subject to our data retention policy)
Active subscriptions may be cancelled without refund for cause-based termination
You must still cancel any active subscriptions through Google Play or Apple App Store

14. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be:

Posted within the App
Effective immediately upon posting
Indicated by an updated “Last Updated” date

Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms. If you do not agree to the new Terms, you must stop using the App.

15. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of your jurisdiction, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in the courts of your jurisdiction.

16. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

17. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and “inzone” regarding your use of the App and supersede any prior agreements.

19. Acknowledgment

BY USING THE APP, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT YOU HAVE READ, UNDERSTOOD, AND AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THESE TERMS OF SERVICE AND END USER LICENSE AGREEMENT.
